An unprecedented year yielded another unprecedented brief – ensure Aussie’s keep wearing KFC buckets to the cricket, even if the cricket doesn’t go ahead. Quite the ‘Buckethead-scratcher’. But we decided to answer this challenge with another challenge. Partnering with KFC, together to create the platform’s first-ever 3D branded effect, recreating the iconic KFC Bucket virtually to allow fan’s to get a little bit silly and celebrate the cricket anywhere they want!
The challenge? A series of moves usually performed by an umpire, now performed by countless Aussies to a bespoke hip-hop track.It’s ridiculous, but fans sure seem to love it. The challenge has received 62 million views and counting, the size of 1,145 SCG Stadiums.
